Rats is an original piece painted in 2007, and is the first David Dice painting that features celebrity images.

Hand painted using acrylic on canvas, rats was inspired by days gone by in Las Vegas.  This piece is done on three different canvases that measure 30" x 40" each.  rats can be purchased as a trio set, or each painting can be purchased individually.

Most of David Dice's most popular paintings feature celebrity portrait images, done mainly in black and white.  As rats is the first celebrity portrait image, this is widely known as the most sought after piece in the David Dice collection.  If you look closely at it, you can tell that it is not as detailed as some of his other artworks.  Painted in 2007, it shows that David Dice was still honing his craft and attention to detail.

Each David Dice Original Signed Rats Painting is done in acrylic on a 30" x 40" stretched canvas. Original canvas paintings are signed by David Dice, and limited to a numbered series of 150.  Price $2999 for a set of three, or $1299 for one of three.

Each David Dice "Canvas Collection"  Rats Gilcee Art Print is done using Epson Premiere Art Canvas. It has an Archival quality of approximately 75 years.  Glossy surface with unique texture for true artist look.  Water resistant for increased durability. 

Highest resolution canvas for outstanding reproduction. Poly/Cotton blend, stretchable for framing. The prices include PRINT, Stretched onto a wooden frame and UV protective coat.

Thin Gallery Wrap (.75")

The canvas is wrapped around a ¾" wooden stretcher frame. Customers choose this thinner piece as a lower cost ready-to-hang alternative or if they are planning to custom frame the canvas themselves.

Thick Gallery Wrap (1.5")

The canvas is wrapped around a 1½" thick wooden stretcher frame. The image wraps onto the sides for clean modern look, finished and ready-to-hang. Thick Gallery Wrap has a more professional finish to it, and has a finer presentation than the thin gallery wrap.

About Giclee Art Printing

In Giclee printing, no screen or other mechanical devices are used and therefore there is no visible dot screen pattern. The image has all the tonalities and hues of the original painting. The Giclee printing process provides better colour accuracy than other means of reproduction.
